We are the proud partner of over 30 professional sports teams and work closely to utilize our 30+ homegrown application and range of out of the box integrations to build a tailored solution to meet the customers needs.
Position Overview:
retailcloud is seeking a Business Development Representative to support the growing Sports and Entertainment sales team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 year experience in a prior BDR role. This role will require cold outreach, continuous follow up and meeting appointment setting goals.
Responsibilities:
• Grow and manage sales pipeline, prospect, and assess sales potential.
• Create targeted prospecting lists to identify and win new Enterprise level customers focused in the sports and entertainment industry.
• Develop programs to generate a solid flow of leads through cold calling, networking and other form of outreach sequences.
• Set qualified introductory meetings for the sales team.
• Assist with generating new partners and integrations partners.
• Meet and exceed lead/opportunity targets and outcomes within company schedule.
• Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Successfully promote and 'sell' the solution using well-formed use-cases to prospective customers.
• Win and grow new and existing businesses by working with Marketing, Customer Support and Product teams.
• Work effectively with internal teams to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in a B2B BDR/SDR role, ideally from a SaaS/ERP/API company
• New business hunger
• Ability to deliver outstanding results and a track record of over performance.
• Ideally worked in a start-up environment
• Highly organized
Compensation:
Base salary of $60,000-$70,000 with an attractive commission structure if over achieving goals.
