Job description

The Role and What You'll Do:
160over90 is seeking an Account Manager that will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the day-to-day servicing of a client's NBA partnership. The position will have a direct report, report to the team's Director and be based in our Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the day-to-day management of client's partnership marketing efforts
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask multiple client requests
  • Assist in developing and implementing sponsorship strategy and initiatives, including customized programs and promotions
  • Help manage the sponsorship measurement and return on investment process
  • Provide and analyze industry trends, research, competitive analysis, and POVs
  • Develop sponsorship and activation materials. This will include, but not be limited to development of creative elements, client marketing presentations, securing approvals from key stake holders and distribution of materials to clients and partners
  • Interface and work closely with external agencies and partners, including but not limited to creative and experiential agencies, along with client-internal social, regional and local departments
  • Attend events and activations and provide on-site support as needed

Education And Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 4 - 6 years of agency or client-based account management experience (specific disciplines could include sponsorship strategy and marketing, partnership strategy and marketing, event / experiential marketing, influencer marketing or digital marketing)
  • Experience and understanding of the business of sports, sports media and sports marketing/sponsorship, with NBA interest/experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage the development and implementation of a marketing strategy on behalf of client or company
  • Ability to manage day-to-day relationships with client and agency(s)
  • Experience working with internal teams (account/creative) as well as other agency partners
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Superior client relationship/service skills
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel ~10% of the time
  • Exceptional in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Hiring Rate Minimum:
$71,250 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)
Hiring Rate Maximum:
$95,000 annually
