Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. This role is starting in 2027, so we are looking to connect with qualified candidates interested in new career opportunities in the coming year. This role is an entry level position requiring the individual to be driven, well-organized and curious. They must be self-motivated and thrive in uncertain and evolving environments, can adapt quickly and are eager to learn.

What You Will Do
  • Gain hands-on experience with source control, test-driven and behavior-driven development, modern build tools.
  • Work with automated scanning tools to ensure quality and security of your work.
  • Collaborate with peers to build and manage pipelines supporting the deployment of software.
  • Become comfortable with changes and ambiguity, adapting as the program evolves to meet emerging needs and technologies.
  • Participate in the analysis and review of epics, features, and user stories.
  • Participate in the design and review of technical designs.
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies and contribute to group discussions, working sessions, and share learning with peers and mentors.
  • Develop technical solutions based in adherence with company standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and the integration testing of solutions.
  • Assist in the debugging and resolution of issues found during testing.
  • Assist in the documentation and implementation of software programs and solutions.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, manuals, policy documents, etc.
  • Research and analyze production support issues.
  • Participates in production releases as scheduled.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an openness to tackling new and unfamiliar challenges.
  • Experience with modern UI development (React or Angular).
  • Strong business and technology aptitude with the ability to learn processes and procedures quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and the ability to work in a collaborative setting (in-person and virtual).
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build credibility and strong partnerships while working collaboratively within the team and across the organization.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, determine priorities, and execute in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Understanding of or exposure to Cloud platforms and services (GCP, Azure, AWS).
  • Understanding of or experience with testing practices (including TDD/BDD) using tools such as Selenium, Jest, Junit, or Playwrite.
  • Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git, Github Copilot, etc.
  • Understanding of container workloads.
  • Experience with Java and SpringBoot
  • Experience with non-relational databases such as Mongo, SQL server, Oracle, DB2.
  • Understanding of or experience with IDEs such as IntelliJ, webMethods Developer, etc.
  • Understanding of Microservices architecture and experience with API development.
  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Stash, Splunk or SoapUI.
