Join our team as a Splunk Software Engineer, where you'll design and enhance cutting-edge Splunk solutions that empower mission-critical operations. You'll collaborate with talented users and engineers, shape scalable data insights, and help drive secure, efficient, and highly available Splunk environments across the enterprise. If you love solving complex challenges and optimizing systems that matter, this is an exciting place to grow your career.
Responsibilities:
  • Architect, implement, and manage Splunk infrastructure and end-to-end solutions.
  • Administer and maintain Splunk Enterprise Security environments.
  • Develop, optimize, and deploy advanced and complex Splunk searches.
  • Administer search head clusters, indexer clusters, and Splunk forwarders.
  • Partner with users to troubleshoot issues and build tailored Splunk solutions
  • Use Git to version, manage, and deploy custom apps and configurations.
  • Leverage AWS services to deploy and manage Splunk infrastructure in the cloud.
  • Track and manage work through Jira and ServiceNow.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • Education & Experience
  • 6+ years of Experience with a Bachelor's degree, or:
    • Doctorate in a technical field and 2 years of experience, OR
    • Master's degree and 4 years of experience, OR
    • Associate degree and 8 years of experience
  • Splunk Architect certification OR Splunk Admin certification with the ability to architect solutions when needed
  • Experience or knowledge in managing Splunk clusters and forwarders
  • Experience or knowledge in developing complex Splunk searches
  • Basic Linux experience or familiarity.

Desired:
  • Splunk Consultant or Splunk Architect certification.
  • Hands-on Linux experience.
  • Experience using Git for configuration and application management.
  • AWS experience supporting cloud-based deployments.
  • Experience with Jira and ServiceNow.
  • Splunk Enterprise Security knowledge or experience
  • Splunk SOAR knowledge or experience.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
