Human Resources Manager

Two Locations | Full-Time | Reports to CFO

We're seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead and elevate our HR function across two locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong teams, supporting employees, and driving HR strategy.

What You'll Do:

Talent & Culture

  • Lead recruiting efforts for hourly and management roles
  • Drive onboarding and retention strategies
  • Foster a positive, engaging workplace culture

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee concerns
  • Manage performance, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Support leadership with coaching and guidance

Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and open enrollment
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Manage leave programs, workers' comp, and reporting (5500s, etc.)

Performance & Strategy

  • Lead performance management and employee recognition programs
  • Partner with leadership on compensation planning and HR strategy
  • Maintain and update policies, procedures, and employee handbook

What You Bring:

  • 7 - 10 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification a plus

Additional Details:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Occasional evenings/weekends as needed
  • Travel between locations required
