Job description

Spectra Gutter Systems is looking for a Field Operations Manager – Contractor Services to join our team in Denver, CO. The Field Operations Manager-Contractor Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and growth of Spectra's Contractor Services program. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery while supporting customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth. T

he Field Operations Manager coordinates field activities, manages logistics and scheduling, maintains equipment and vehicles, develops customer relationships, and drives program performance in alignment with company goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily Chop & Drop field operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely service delivery.
  • Manage customer appointments, delivery schedules, logistics, and field activities to maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, customers, and branch personnel.
  • Support sales growth through customer outreach, relationship development, networking, and business development activities.
  • Monitor program performance, service quality, and key performance metrics, implementing improvements to support productivity and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, DOT regulations, and operational standards.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve operational, scheduling, and customer service issues.
  • Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, organization, and safe operation of company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance activities, including routine inspections and repair scheduling.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Travel regularly to support customer projects, branch locations, and operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, logistics, operations, construction management, transportation, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in field operations, logistics, transportation, distribution, construction services, contractor services, or a related industry preferred.
  • Experience coordinating field activities, scheduling, deliveries, logistics, or customer-facing operations.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Experience supporting sales initiatives, business development activities, or contractor-focused operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation safety requirements, and safe equipment operation.
  • Ability to safely operate and maneuver a truck and trailer in congested, residential, and job-site environments.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly in support of customer projects, branch operations, and business needs.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
