Position Summary

We are seeking an Electronics and Spectrum Analyst to support the EBJ Futures programs at Eglin AFB. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to review contractor proposals, evaluate electronic system designs, and ensure solutions meet government technical and spectrumenvironment requirements.

You'll provide key insights during technicalinterchange meetings, help guide verification and integration approaches, and support major program decisions that shape nextgeneration airborne weapon systems. This is an opportunity to directly influence highvisibility defense programs while working alongside a missionfocused team.


***Candidates must have an active Top-Secret/ SCI clearance and SAP access experience. ***

What You'll Do

  • Review and score contractor proposals related to:
    • Electronic system architecture;
    • Spectrumcharacterization methods; and
    • Plans for demonstrating system compatibility
  • Assess whether contractor technical approaches meet government systemlevel requirements.
  • Evaluate if proposed designs properly account for the electromagnetic environment at the platform interface.
  • Produce independent government technical evaluation reports that influence programoffice funding and selection decisions.
  • Participate in monthly technicalinterchange meetings with funded study teams and provide technical guidance.
  • Offer direction on verification approaches for electronic systems and ensure alignment with program needs.
  • Support the Technical Director during midpoint go/nogo reviews of ongoing feasibility studies.
  • Coordinate directly with the platform program office on interfacecharacterization issues and electronic system compatibility.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen and MUST HAVE active Top Secret/SCI clearance;
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of SAP access experience;
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in DoW acquisition program management, systems engineering, or technical advisory roles on advanced weapon or airborne system programs;
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in airborne electronic systems engineering; and
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; master's degree in a like field is preferred, demonstrating continued and up-to-date educational standards electrical engineering.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a secure, classified office environment where noise levels may range from low to moderate.
  • Limited overnight travel may be required from time to time.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
