Position Overview

We are seeking an HR Generalist I with at least 2 years of experience to support Human Resources operations. This role will focus primarily on onboarding activities, with some exposure to payroll or a willingness to learn.

The position involves a variety of administrative responsibilities supporting HR functions. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage onboarding of new employees
  • Set up and maintain personnel files
  • Perform data entry using Taleo
  • Enter employee benefit information into:
    • Taleo ATS System
    • Paycor
    • Unanet
  • Support new hire in-processing, including:
    • Background checks
    • Drug screenings
    • Physicals with third-party vendors
  • Communicate with employees and managers regarding benefits questions
  • Complete personnel forms, mandated reports, logs, and records
  • Maintain data integrity within HR systems
  • Monitor unemployment claims
  • Become familiar with employment law and affirmative action requirements
  • Complete employment verifications as requested
  • Verify new hire eligibility through E-Verify
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
  • Option 1: Two (2) years of college with coursework in business administration or a related discipline and 1-2 years of experience
    OR
  • Option 2: No college degree with 5-7 years of progressive administrative experience
