Job description

D2B Groups is seeking a dynamic Power Generation Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the backup power generation sector. The candidate will be responsible for delivering new business opportunities while managing relationships with existing customers and partners, including engineering firms, distrubutor partners, and end-users across various market segments. The focus will be on driving sales of industrial and commercial power generation solutions while fostering a customer-centric approach.
  • Expand customer base and increase revenues through direct sales of our commercial emissions control systems to the data center, hospital and college/university markets in the outlined territory.
  • Work closely with influencers and collaborators in our target markets, to include mechanical, electrical and consulting engineering firms
  • Present the technical features and benefits of our products and write and influence the specifications
  • Achieve established territory sales targets and quotas
  • Develop, document, and implement tactical sales and marketing plans
  • Recommend and develop sales and marketing tools, standards and procedures used by our sales team and representatives, to include literature, presentations, and trade show displays
  • Identify and propose new product concepts
  • Develop channels to market and recruit sales staff, distributors, representatives, and dealers
  • Manage and develop distributors and representatives, to include providing sales, marketing, onboarding and training support as well as monitoring sales against forecast

Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales management within the power generation or backup power industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of power generation systems and ancillary equipment.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
