Why This Role Matters The Area Sales Manager plays a critical role in expanding SPAX market share across professional construction channels. This is a field-driven role responsible for driving territory performance through disciplined market development, relationship building, and hands-on product advocacy.

You will: Drive territory growth through new business development and expanded channel engagement Build strong partnerships with dealers, distributors, and contractors to increase product adoption Execute field activation strategies including jobsite demonstrations, product training, and dealer engagement events Identify market opportunities and translate insights into actionable growth initiatives Strengthen SPAX's brand presence and competitive positioning within the professional construction channel Provide real-time market intelligence to sales leadership, marketing, and product teams Territory & Market Development Develop and execute a territory growth strategy aligned with company sales objectives Identify and pursue new dealer, distributor, and contractor opportunities Expand SPAX brand presence within Lumberyards, STAFDA, building product distributors, and professional building channels Build long-term relationships with owners, branch managers, outside sales representatives, and counter teams Sales Growth & Channel Expansion Drive profitable sales growth and increase product penetration across assigned markets Strengthen stocking positions with distributors and dealers through relationship management and value selling Convert contractors and end users through product demonstrations, training, and on-site engagement Support distributor and dealer partners with sales enablement, product education, and field support Field Activation & Product Advocacy Conduct jobsite demonstrations and product training sessions Serve as a SPAX brand ambassador by communicating product performance advantages and installation benefits Support regional promotions, product launches, and marketing initiatives Participate in trade shows, industry events, and contractor engagement activities Market Intelligence & Business Insight Provide feedback on pricing, competitive activity, product needs, and emerging market trends Analyze territory performance and identify opportunities to improve market penetration Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to refine strategies based on market insights Essential Duties Operational Discipline & Collaboration Maintain accurate CRM data including pipeline activity, customer engagement, and forecasting Collaborate with Inside Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution Deliver regular updates on territory performance, growth initiatives, and market opportunities Support company initiatives that strengthen channel partnerships and drive long-term market growth Travel: This is a field-based role requiring regular travel throughout the assigned territory, including jobsite visits, distributor branches, customer meetings, and industry events.
