Job description

Europa Village is a one of a kind Wine Country destination offering an Old World European experience where service is gracious and unlimited. Everything viewed, touched and crafted will reflect an unsurpassed level of authenticity that speaks to our theme. Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village takes our guests on a culinary journey throughout the country of Spain. Our menu celebrates the centuries old tradition of dining together, tapas style. Tapas are prepared typically in bite size offerings and made to be shared.
Europa Village is looking for a full-time Dishwasher. The ideal candidate is reliable and will have a Can Do attitude and a strong work ethic. Prior dish washing experience is a plus.
Dishwashers Report To:

  • Executive Chef
Responsibilities Specific to a Dishwasher:

  • Possess and live Europa Village core values.
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Re-wash soiled dishes before delivering.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Maintains the cleanliness, sanitation and organization of the dish area.
  • Change dishwater in dish machine regularly.
  • Wash by hand items too large for dish machine.
  • Remove trash and garbage to dumpster. Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
  • Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
  • Complies with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
  • Ensure hands are washed after touching dirty dishes and before touching clean dishes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Expectations of a Dishwasher:

  • Create and foster an environment of “teamwork” by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought.
  • Be comfortable working on feet for long periods of time.
  • Be able to communicate Europa Village’s story.
  • Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
  • Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean, pressed uniform and appropriate slacks, stockings and shoes.
  • Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality.
  • Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures.
