About the role
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Standards: Ensure the locker rooms, workout areas, pool area, and gym are clean, well-maintained, and in line with spa standards.
  • Guest Interaction: Provide courteous, professional service to all guests, responding promptly to inquiries and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and comfort.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all Four Seasons policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set-Up and Maintenance:
  • Set up and maintain all areas of the spa, including refreshments, locker rooms, relaxation lounge, fitness center, pool area, and terrace. Ensure all spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Guest Interaction:
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality, accommodating special requests and resolving complaints swiftly. Assist guests with any inquiries related to spa services.
Assist with Spa Appointments:
  • Escort guests to their spa appointments when necessary, ensuring they have all necessary information and assisting with any pre- or post-service needs.
Adhere to Policies:
  • Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the team.
Assist with Fitness and Spa Areas:
  • Assist guests with the use and setup of fitness machines, spa areas, locker rooms, and the pool area, ensuring all equipment and spaces are clean ready for use.
Towel and Laundry Assistance:
  • Retrieve, fold, and organize towels. Assist with the transport of clean and dirty laundry to and from the laundry area.
Stocking and Product Delivery:
  • Retrieve, deliver, and store products as needed, ensuring that all supplies are readily available for both guests and staff. This includes continuously restocking locker supplies, robes, towels, sandals, tea, water, snacks, etc.
Clean and Stock Relaxation Area:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the relaxation area, including ensuring it is properly stocked with refreshments, and any other necessary items.
Laundry Assistance for Therapists:
  • Assist with collecting dirty laundry from therapists and transport it to the main laundry area to ensure a continuous flow of clean linens.
ADDITIONAL HOUSEKEEPING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Locker Rooms and Bathrooms:
  • Regularly clean and sanitize locker rooms, bathrooms, and showers to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Pool Area, Terrace and Fitness Center:
  • Perform continuous cleaning and upkeep of the pool area, terrace and fitness center, including floors, equipment, and other surfaces, ensuring the environment is both hygienic and inviting for guests.
Restocking and Supply Management:
  • Ensure constant availability of locker supplies, robes, towels, and sandals by monitoring stock levels and restocking as needed throughout the day.
Laundry Duties:
  • Assist in the washing, folding, and organization of towels and robes. Ensure clean linens are always available for guests and staff.
What you bring
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous housekeeping or spa experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including towels and cleaning supplies.
  • Comfortable working in both a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
  • Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs (towels, cleaning supplies, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • 6 months in hospitality industry work and or fitness, health club related work
