Job description

Massage Therapist

The Massage Therapist position performs body treatments according to established protocols ensuring all guests experience pure peace and relaxation.

What You Will Do
  • Follow proper payroll procedures.
  • Be on time and conscientious, keep the spa management informed in case of issues or tardiness.
  • Ensure cleanliness of your uniform. Must have a professional appearance throughout your service make-up, hairstyle, and varnish as indicated by the standards.
  • Perform indoor massage
  • Provide a courteous, professional and warm attitude towards guests, leads, supervisors, managers and co-workers.
  • Comply with hygiene and safety rules, quality criteria and procedures within the department.
  • Be subject to a testing standard/mystery shopper in order to evaluate the application and the respect of the procedures which is incumbent on your position. These tests will provide an assessment.
  • Utilize the logbook and schedule chart.
  • Perform other tasks or projects assigned by the Spa Management.
  • Keep your work area neat, clean and quiet at all times.
  • Utilize each of the rooms and provide information to guests about the services offered in the Spa as well as the Hotel.
  • Utilize/know each of the retail products safety and accurately.
  • Report any minor or significant incident (glitch) to the Head of Department or his or her Assistants.
  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by spa management and staff.
What You Bring
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Other language is a plus.
  • Georgia massage therapist, holistic health practitioner.
  • Ability to perform deep tissue/sport massage, Swedish massage and reflexology massage.
  • Ability to participate in all training offered by the spa.
  • Ability to listen and understand guest needs, respect guest privacy, create an exceptional, customized and professional experience to our guests.
