Distribution Driver CDLA, 2nd Shift | Southern Tier Brewing - Lakewood, NY

Compensation Target: $22/HR


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle to efficiently con duct deliveries of finished products and/or raw materials to internal/external customers
  • Ensure contents are properly secured inside of truck to prevent breakage or damage
  • Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
  • Maintain detailed driving logs and accurate paperwork (BOL's, Manifests)
  • Safely operate forklift trucks and other equipment to move, load, or stack packaged beer and raw materials
  • Support the Fulfillment Team by picking order and loading trucks as needed
  • Unload and check in inbound shipments as needed
  • Contribute to warehouse/equipment organization and cleanliness


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Retain a valid Class A CDL driver's license
  • Retain a medical card
  • Physically capable of lifting 60 pounds and moving at least 165 pounds
  • Ability to safely operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Proficient using ELD logging devices, GPS, and any other necessary electronic devices
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends when necessary
