Wintonbury Hill Golf Course, located in Bloomfield, CT, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time seasonal Sous Chef! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support kitchen operations and maintain high food quality and standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Executive Chef
  • Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
  • Ensuring food safety, quality, presentation and consistency
  • Assisting with prep work including chopping, portioning, and ingredient preparation
  • Communicating effectively with kitchen team during service
  • Maintaining cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment
  • Assisting with receiving, storage, and inventory rotation as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 2 years prior experience as a Sous Chef
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment/product

Team oriented attitude with strong work ethic
