Job Summary:
Netradyne is a leader in fleet safety solutions, utilizing Computer Vision and Edge Computing to enhance transportation safety. They are seeking a Product Success Technical Writer to develop clear installation guides, create technical illustrations, document best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Develop Installation SOPs: Write, edit, and maintain clear, step-by-step installation guides for fleet safety hardware, including auxiliary cameras, sensors, and GPS/Cellular modules across various vehicle types.
• Technical Illustration: Create and edit clean, single-line black-and-white vector graphics based on 3D models or photographs to visually support installation steps.
• Hardware Documentation: Document best practices for hardware mounting, cable routing, and wiring integrations (e.g., OBDII ports, Molex connectors), ensuring all safety and interference mitigation standards are met.
• Process Optimization: Design and streamline technical documentation templates, such as one-page Installation SOP request forms, to improve team efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Success team and field engineers to ensure all technical bulletins and troubleshooting memos are highly accurate and user-friendly.
• Requires field work/visits: To accurately document vehicle installation procedures and field issues, some travel to local and non-local sites may be required. This requires working in an industrial environment.
