Job Summary:

The Sr. Technical Writer plays a critical role in bridging the gap between our technology and daily business execution. You will own the creation, optimization, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation for our Sales and Operations teams. Partnering cross-functionally with Product and Engineering, you will translate software updates within our proprietary DMG Pro application into clear operational workflows, reducing friction and ensuring continuous process excellence.

What You'll Do:

  • Build, scale, and govern a centralized, standardized SOP and best-practices library, establishing robust enterprise documentation standards, version control, and regular audit cadences across business units.
  • Develop, format, and execute comprehensive SOPs and process documents that optimize sales and operational performance.
  • Lead collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to translate complex DMG Pro application releases, UI/UX shifts, and architectural changes into clear, intuitive user workflows and documentation.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and documentation gaps to improve service delivery speed, compliance, and team onboarding efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Operations teams to extract institutional knowledge and document best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by turning technical product logic into user-friendly guides for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, process excellence, and continuous improvement across business units.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Business Operations, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical writing, process documentation, or marketplace operations, preferably within a technology-enabled services environment.
  • Proven track record of building, managing, and governing enterprise-level SOP libraries, knowledge bases, and best-practice frameworks from the ground up.
  • Proven experience translating complex software application updates (UI/UX, logic shifts) into clear, step-by-step user documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail, structural formatting, and workflow optimization.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product & Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Excellent communication, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills; ability to seamlessly prompt SMEs for details.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
