Job description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for process improvement and SOP professionals experienced in reviewing procedural documents, workflow materials, spreadsheets, slide decks, process maps, implementation plans, quality standards, and presentation-ready business artifacts for accuracy, rigor, clarity, and domain quality.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on SOP and process improvement artifact review, rubric-based evaluation, document and spreadsheet assessment, slide deck quality review, structured feedback, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will evaluate AI-generated work products and apply subject-matter expertise to identify factual, structural, aesthetic, and presentation issues.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

SOP & Process Documentation Review

  • Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving SOPs, process improvement, workflow documentation, checklists, playbooks, or implementation materials
  • Review procedural content for accuracy, completeness, clarity, sequence, usability, and practical relevance
  • Assess whether SOPs and process materials are logically structured, easy to follow, and aligned with professional documentation standards
  • Identify unclear steps, missing controls, weak assumptions, inconsistent terminology, or incomplete guidance

Process Improvement Evaluation

  • Review artifacts involving current-state analysis, future-state recommendations, bottleneck analysis, root cause analysis, KPI tracking, workflow redesign, and quality improvement
  • Evaluate whether recommendations are practical, measurable, and aligned with the stated business context
  • Assess process maps, improvement plans, templates, and reporting materials for rigor and usability
  • Identify gaps in reasoning, weak prioritization, incomplete implementation details, or poor linkage between problems and recommendations

Artifact, Spreadsheet & Presentation Quality Review

  • Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency
  • Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality
  • Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files
  • Provide clear written feedback that improves artifact quality and professional polish

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in process improvement, SOP development, workflow documentation, quality improvement, business process design, project delivery, or related work
  • Native or professional fluency in English
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
  • Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment

Educational Background

  • Academic backgrounds in business, industrial engineering, systems engineering, project management, quality management, organizational design, public administration, information systems, or related fields may be relevant
  • Advanced degree from a reputable institution may be valuable
  • Professional training in process improvement, quality management, workflow design, or structured documentation may also be relevant depending on project scope

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, BPMN, quality management, business analysis, or similar professional training
