We're seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Solutionist to join our team. As a Flooring Solutionist, you will be responsible for estimating and installing a variety of flooring solutions, including Vinyl, Laminate, Tile, and Carpet, for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to estimate flooring installation projects
* Provide accurate and detailed estimates to clients, including material and labor costs
* Install a variety of flooring types, including Vinyl, Laminate, Tile, and Carpet, to a high standard of quality and workmanship
* Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards
* Work with clients to understand their flooring needs and provide recommendations for the best solution
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective project completion
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new products to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in flooring installation, with a focus on Vinyl, Laminate, Tile, and Carpet
* Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and industry standards
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver flooring materials and tools
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or certification in flooring installation a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in flooring installation (e.g. CFI, NWFA)
* Experience with flooring software and estimating tools
* Knowledge of building codes and regulations
* Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
