Job description

Position Summary:
The IT Project Manager is part of a highly collaborative IT solutions team that works closely together to tackle projects ranging from enterprise infrastructure to software implementations and business process improvement initiatives. Primary responsibilities for this role include planning and managing individual projects, partnering with vendors' implementation teams, communicating with and aligning stakeholders and project teams, and managing exceptions to ensure smooth delivery of quality results on schedule and budget.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Collaborate with project owners and stakeholders to break down business goals and initiatives into projects by defining objectives, scope, deliverables and benefits/outcomes.
4. Plan projects comprehensively including phasing, activities, schedules, resourcing, risks, budgets and project measures.
5. Manage project execution throughout the project lifecycle by coordinating project teams and outside vendors, facilitating a variety of project activities, managing scope and deliverable targets, driving risk and issue mitigation, coordinating testing and change management, and facilitating communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. Create and maintain project artifacts including charters, work plans, timelines, resource plans,
communications plans, test plans, RAID (Risk/Assumption/Action/Issue/Dependency/Decision) trackers, budget tracking, and checklists.
7. Ensures project team members understand their roles and responsibilities and holds team members accountable by providing feedback and escalation where appropriate.
8. For vendor-led projects, partner with vendor teams as a liaison to ensure well-coordinated Graton team participation and that Graton PMO practices are utilized where needed.
9. Track and manage inter-dependent project timelines and milestones across all projects to advise and coordinate on prioritization and resource planning with the team.
10. Manage budgets, purchasing, and ROI tracking for assigned projects.
11. Participate in the continuous improvement of IT processes and practices.
12. Create, maintain and organize technical documentation.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, plus
3. Two (2) to Four (4) years of relevant experience in IT project management and/or solution development and delivery.
4. Ability to manage all aspects of the project management lifecycle with minimal managerial assistance, utilizing common project methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, and specifically projects following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
5. Highly proficient with relevant software applications such as Microsoft MS-Office, Visio, and project management tools like MS Project or Smartsheet.
6. Ability to work well in a matrixed environment of team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
7. Ability to manage time and stay organized amidst multiple time demands.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Industry certifications such as PMI-PMP, or willingness to obtain certification
Physical Requirements:
1. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
2. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance.
