About the Role
The Senior Solution Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and engaging internal and external audiences about the value of Hyland's offerings in their assigned industry to build reputation and drive demand. This role serves as a key industry subject matter expert, partnering cross-functionally to define market opportunities, shape go-to-market strategy, and deliver compelling content and messaging that accelerates pipeline and supports sales success.
Here's What You'll Do
  • Act as an industry subject matter expert; define the market opportunity for assigned industries and participate in go-to-market planning with key stakeholders to define, support, and grow the portfolio of offerings by monitoring industry trends
  • Build positioning, messaging, and content architecture for a defined list of solutions within the assigned industry; direct the creation of content in industry vernacular focused on buyer roles to support inbound and outbound marketing efforts and sales enablement needs
  • Understand target buyer needs, define buyer personas, and refine specific audiences through targeting and segmentation; understand the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and risks and effectively position against competitive offerings
  • Interface with all levels of organizations - including external customers, executive management, partners, media, and analysts - demo industry solutions, and speak at relevant conferences, analyst engagements, and media sources
  • Manage assigned budget and make recommendations to optimize marketing spend; work collaboratively with partners across marketing, sales, product, and services to actively participate in go-to-market strategy development and execution; identify and secure key customer testimonials for external and internal use
  • Operate as an innovative thought leader and trusted advisor; mentor, coach, and provide feedback to team members while contributing to department growth through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends
Role Essentials
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with significant experience in product marketing and a background as a Solution Marketing Manager; dual background in enterprise software technologies and technical solution marketing, training, or communications
  • Strong writing, presentation building, verbal, written, digital, and graphic communication skills; strong project management skills with the ability to self-direct and self-motivate to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality content
  • Relevant education and software experience with cloud IT infrastructure and deployments; demonstrable knowledge of Cloud Computing, IT infrastructure, and software deployment methods
  • Ability to quickly understand complex new technologies and their application within enterprise software solutions; understanding of corporate finance and ROI practices
  • Knowledge of the enterprise sales process and product collateral needs for effective value-based solution marketing and selling; passion and enthusiasm for learning Hyland's product suite
