Pay Grade:  12 or 14

Reports To: Director of Retail Strategy & Optimization

Salary: $65,000 - $71,000

Retail Solutions Manager

Traveling Position  |  Remote / Near a Major U.S. Airport  |  Up to 75-90% Travel

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a hands-on retail operations and merchandising leader to support cafe and retail locations across the country. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, improving the guest experience, coaching teams, and turning retail strategy into strong day-to-day execution.

The Opportunity
  • Partner with onsite leaders, Regional Directors of Operations, Corporate Executive Chefs, and cross-functional teams to strengthen retail performance.
  • Provide hands-on support for merchandising resets, retail openings, refreshes, renovations, new programs, and site-specific operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product presentation, signage, placement, promotions, service, and the overall guest experience.
  • Deliver practical solutions, action plans, and follow-up support that help teams improve performance and maintain brand standards.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead and support visual merchandising resets across multiple accounts.
  • Coach retail leaders and operators on execution, merchandising standards, and operational best practices.
  • Support onboarding and development programs for retail managers and field leadership.
  • Help roll out standardized culinary, retail, marketing, and promotional programs.
  • Monitor program adoption, share field feedback, and recommend improvements.
  • Build trusted relationships and communicate observations, wins, and opportunities to key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
  • Five or more years of experience in retail operations, foodservice, merchandising, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or leading operational improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, and guest-experience strategies.
  • A confident coach and relationship builder who can influence teams at multiple leadership levels.
  • Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to travel extensively—up to 75-90%—for site visits, openings, refreshes, and special projects.
