Location: Berkeley Heights, New Jersey (5 days Onsite)
Job Type: Full-time
Solution Architect - Onsite Day 1 (role needed to design the overall TO-BE picture)
  • (Cloud native architecture -> 1.) Cloud AWS Storage S3, Blob/ Platform: Manage compute: Fargate, App Service...| 2.) Container & Orchestration - docker/ Kubernetes| 3). Design microservices (event-driven or API-driven), batch processing & batch component migration
  • Modern Development Skills -> 1. Python or Go for rebuilding logic from Cobol, 2. Dev Ops tooling: CI/CD with Github Actions/ CI CD with Jenkins
  • Migration & Refactoring techniques: Code analysis tools, migrate from legacy/DB2 to cloud native databases (RDS, DynamoDB)
  • Scheduler Replacement: Migrate from mainframe schedulers
  • Integration & Interoperability -> API Design (Restful services, GraphQL), Messaging (Kafka...), Hybrid connectivity (VPNs, Direct Connect, Peering between cloud and legacy data centres)
