Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
We are looking for a Senior Architect Consultant to provide strategic architecture leadership across HR technology, Finance technology, and the broader employee platform ecosystem. This individual will play a key role in defining and evolving technology architectures that support employee experiences, business operations, cloud adoption, platform modernization, and AI-enabled process improvements.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and integration strategies, with a strong understanding of how platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure work together to deliver seamless employee and business experiences. This role requires strong technical leadership, collaboration skills, and the ability to influence technology and business stakeholders without direct organizational ownership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in one or more technology domains, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics
- 3+ years of experience in solution design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructure.
- 8+ years of IT development, implementation, or consulting experience in the software or internet industries
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS technologies from a DevOps or engineering perspective
-Workday Integration knowledge
- Strong technical presentation and communication skills, including whiteboard sessions and presentations to both small and large audiences
- Experience working directly with end-user communities and/or developer communities
Architecture Strategy & Roadmap
• Partner with technology and business leaders to help define and execute architecture roadmaps for HR, Finance, and employee-facing technology platforms.
• Develop target-state architectures that align with enterprise technology strategies, business objectives, security requirements, and operational goals.
• Identify opportunities for platform modernization, cloud adoption, technical debt reduction, and application rationalization.
Platform & Solution Architecture
• Provide architecture guidance across platforms including Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure, and related employee technology solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that enable a seamless end-to-end employee experience.
• Define integration patterns, API strategies, data flows, and architectural best practices across the employee technology ecosystem.
• Ensure architectural decisions support enterprise standards, performance requirements, security controls, and regulatory compliance.
AI & Innovation Enablement
• Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve employee productivity, operational efficiency, and business processes.
• Provide architectural guidance for AI-enabled solutions, including governance, security, and responsible AI considerations.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to assess emerging technologies and recommend practical adoption strategies.
Salary Range- $120,000-$130,000 a year
