Sicora Design/Build is an award winning residential remodeling company looking to add an important position to its growing team. ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTER. In this position you will be responsible for the following:


•     Visit job sites to take field measurements and document existing conditions for accurate as-built drawings

•     Create detailed architectural drawings and construction documents for residential remodeling projects using Chief Architect

•     Develop permit-ready drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and framing layouts

•     Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate design concepts and client requirements into buildable plans

•     Coordinate with contractors and field staff to ensure drawings reflect real-world site conditions and constructability

•     Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, field changes, and local code requirements

•     Maintain organized, well-documented project files and drawing archives

•     Prepare and submit building permit applications and drawing sets to local jurisdictions, tracking submittals through approval


Qualifications:

•     Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural drafting, with hands-on experience producing as-built drawings for residential remodeling projects

•     Proficiency in Chief Architect required

•     Solid understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes

•     Ability to accurately take field measurements and document existing conditions on-site

•     Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

•     Comfortable communicating and collaborating with designers, project managers, and clients

•     Associate degree or certificate in drafting, CAD, or architectural technology preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered

•     Familiarity with local building permit processes and requirements; experience preparing and submitting permit applications a plus

•     Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site visits
