• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that effectively address the unique needs of each client.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities to promote mental wellness and personal growth.
• Set specific therapeutic goals with clients and regularly monitor their progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Offer teletherapy options, accommodating clients with accessibility challenges or preferences for virtual sessions.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, demonstrating adherence to ethical and professional standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including attending workshops and conferences to stay current in the field.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Life Edge, you will work primarily with adult clients who are navigating various mental health challenges. This includes individuals coping with trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and other significant life stressors. You will play a key role in fostering a safe therapeutic environment where clients can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and achieve lasting change.

• Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field; a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with diverse client populations.
• Empathetic, compassionate, and maintain a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.

Ideal candidates will possess experience in delivering evidence-based therapies, familiarity with telehealth services, and a solid understanding of crisis intervention techniques. Previous experience working with clients facing trauma, depression, and anxiety will be advantageous. A background in community health settings is a plus.

Life Edge Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload size. In addition to financial compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
