Position Overview: The Residential Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for building trusted relationships with homeowners and driving new roofing business through inspections, education, and consultative sales. Essential Functions:
  • Build relationships with decision-makers by prospecting, networking, and opening doors in targeted markets
  • Generate and grow a healthy sales pipeline through strategic partnerships and active lead development
  • Engage clients to uncover needs, identify growth opportunities, and close new business
  • Create and present compelling, customized proposals that showcase JR & Co.'s full capabilities
  • Partner with Estimators and internal teams to price work accurately and negotiate contract terms
  • Provide light project oversight after the sale by staying connected from kickoff through completion to ensure a smooth client experience
  • Represent JR & Co. professionally at client meetings, industry events, and networking functions
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to track opportunities, proposals, and business development activity

Education and Experience:
  • 1-3 years B2C or B2B sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Construction/roofing industry background preferred, but not required
  • Canvassing sales experience preferred
  • Prior storm restoration industry experience preferred
  • Cold calling and acquisition experience preferred

Training, Support, and Development
  • Paid 4 Weeks of training including roofing industry, construction education, and sales training.
  • Marketing materials and CRM access
  • Assistance from fully equipped estimating, operations, and admin staff
  • Ongoing, paid, professional development including new products, and sales training.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
  • Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
  • Indoor office environment and outdoor door-to-door sales calling
  • Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client availability
