Job description

A Top Solar Contractor in Iowa is looking for motivated and qualified individuals that want long term employment and growth positions within a fast growing company that is expanding. Positions beyond and Installer after proof of knowledge, expertise, and efficiency proven in the field.

Candidates should be comfortable working in Residential, Commercial and Agriculture Settings. Proficiency and previous Experience with Solar Installations, Electrical, Roofing, Basic Construction and/or Framing Carpentry is a plus.

Entry Level Candidates:

-Roofing, Carpentry and/or other demanding working conditions
-Ability to Work in Extremely Hot/Cold Conditions for Prolonged Periods of Time
-Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
-Comfortable on rooftops
-Must have a valid driver's license
-Good Communication and Representational Skills
-Good teamwork

Work Environment:

This role operates in, and has constant exposure to, adverse outdoor weather conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold) for prolonged periods of time. Employees in this position frequently move solar panels and other equipment that weigh up to, and more than, 50 pounds for extended distance. The person in this position frequently ascends and descends a ladder to service our customers and must be comfortable on a rooftop. This position also requires the ability to do respective movements including bending, twisting, and kneeling for extended periods of time. The person in this position frequently communicates to other members of the installation team to accurately and effectively exchange information.
