Key Responsibilities:
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Enforce TotalEnergies’ HSE policies and ensure all third parties comply with our standards.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administrative activities for multiple large-scale solar and BESS generation sites in the Houston region.
  • Team Supervision: Manage and support O&M contractors and equipment vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and best industry practices.
  • Technical Support: Assist with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and operations to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain positive relationships with landowners, suppliers, customers, vendors, service providers, governmental authorities, and contractors.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development of internal operating policies, standards, and procedures.

TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC is expanding its presence in the renewable energy sector, and we are looking for a dedicated Regional Solar Site Field Lead to join our team. This exciting role involves managing our utility-scale solar farms in the Ohio regionensuring optimal performance and supporting our mission to lead in renewable energies.

Qualifications/ Education:
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or a technical diploma/high school diploma with five (5) years of related industry experience.
Experience:
  • At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in solar O&M.
  • At least ten (10) years of operations and maintenance experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of HV substation equipment and solar power generating technologies.
  • Familiarity with LOTO procedures and Electrical Safe Work practices.
  • NFPA 70E QEW for LV and HV is a plus.
  • Experience with SEL, GE protection relays, and RTAC is a plus.
  • Certifications in Sungrow, SMA, and TMEIC inverters are a plus.
  • Experience in energy storage and wind renewable energy is a plus.
Skills:
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to lead efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a knack for clear and effective project planning and executive-level reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CMMS tools (SAP PM) is a plus.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness and ability to be fully on-site and rotate between sites in the region.
  • US work permit and a valid U.S. driver’s license.
