The Operations Trainer is responsible for training both new hires and current employees within the Owner Services and Flight Control teams. This role involves implementing a structured training program, coordinating, and leading initial and periodic recurrent training sessions, and maintaining detailed documentation of all training activities. In addition, the Training Manager will provide training on Airshare products and programs to ensure comprehensive knowledge across the team. As a subject matter expert in operations, the Flight Management System, and Airshare product and service offerings, the Trainer will leverage their expertise to motivate and engage employees. A critical aspect of the role is to assess and address diverse training needs, adapting to various adult learning styles within the same cohort.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary trainer for all Flight Management System (FMS) training
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing employees, on the Flight Management System and SOPs
  • Provide support and mentorship to new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Assist the OCC Training Manager in implementing structured, modular training programs
  • Support quality assurance efforts by identifying knowledge gaps and training needs
  • Assist in analyzing performance data to recommend training enhancements
  • Maintain records of initial and recurrent training for Owner Services and Flight Control team members
  • Support development of LMS paths, presentations, and quick reference tools
  • Ensure all training documentation is accurate, current, and aligned with SOPs
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve system efficiencies
  • Contribute to the development of CRM and flight scheduling software
  • Monitor employee performance and response to training requirements and skills
  • Stay current with new corporate teaching techniques and methodologies
  • Provide operational support as needed
