At AMD, our mission is to build great products that accelerate next-generation computing experiences-from AI and data centers, to PCs, gaming and embedded systems. Grounded in a culture of innovation and collaboration, we believe real progress comes from bold ideas, human ingenuity and a shared passion to create something extraordinary. We push the limits of innovation to solve the world's most important challenges-striving for execution excellence, while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives. Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond. Together, we advance your career.
THE ROLE:
As a Software Program Manager for SoC Diagnostics, you will play a critical role in delivering diagnostic, debug, and validation software that enables AMD's CPU, APU, and discrete GPU platforms. You will work at the intersection of software, silicon, and systems-partnering with global engineering teams, internal platform users, and select NDA customers.

This is an opportunity to lead highly visible programs that directly impact AMD silicon readiness and customer success.
THE PERSON:
You are a motivated, adaptable program leader who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex problems. You are comfortable working with ambiguity, balancing multiple priorities, and collaborating across geographies and disciplines. You communicate clearly, build trust with stakeholders, and take ownership of delivering results-even under aggressive timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with design teams, internal users, and customers to define diagnostic, debug, and validation software requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to assess product roadmaps and technical documentation, translating impacts into clear, executable program plans.
  • Own and manage development schedules, dependencies, and risks to ensure on-time delivery of committed milestones.
  • Drive alignment across global, cross-functional teams to prevent blockers and resolve conflicts proactively.
  • Manage customer-driven changes while protecting critical deliverables and program commitments.
  • Provide clear, concise status updates, reports, and presentations to technical leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and team dynamics while maintaining focus on delivery and quality.
  • Lead program budgeting and device expense planning as required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in software program management within the semiconductor, hardware OEM, or ODM industry.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs spanning multiple organizations and time zones.
  • Experience working with global engineering teams and external customers.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP or similar program management certification preferred.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
