Job Summary:
Geeks and Nerds is an innovative technology company that encourages ingenuity and fosters teamwork. They are currently seeking a Program Manager to support Program Management for the Systems Readiness Directorate, focusing on managing projects and engaging with senior Government customers.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary point of contact for work related to the program both technical and administrative
• Manage organization of GaN employees and subcontractors
• Frequently engages with customers and staff in order to plan and track all work
• Develops project plans as needed and tracks progress until delivery
• Contributes to the development of project management strategies and processes
• Develop resource management plans and controls program cost
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures where appropriate
• Assists in managing changes associated to projects
• Communicates pertinent information and requirements to staff both customer and corporate
• Ensure quality on all deliverables
• Perform all manpower and staffing actions
• Analyzes program risk, develops, and implements mitigation strategies
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• PEO Aviation Experience a must, preferably within SRD
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project)
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to work independently
• Good understanding of Government contracting
Preferred:
• PMP desired
