What is software procurement?

Effective software procurement helps organizations optimize costs, maintain legal compliance, and ensure that the purchased software aligns with business objectives.

Does tech procurement pay well?

Tech procurement professionals, including those in software procurement, typically earn competitive salaries that vary based on experience, location, and company size. Entry-level roles may start lower, but experienced procurement specialists with certifications like CPSM or CIPS can command higher wages, especially in large organizations or tech hubs.

To thrive in Software Procurement, you need a strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and software licensing, typically supported by a degree in business, IT, or supply chain management.
