F-22 Software Pipeline Senior Manager

The Boeing Company is looking for a Software Pipeline Senior Manager (Level L) located in Berkeley, Missouri. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Software Engineering organization.

The Software Pipeline Senior Manager is responsible for the leadership of a team of software engineers that develop test environment software for the F-22 Raptor. This position reports to the Senior Software Engineering Manager and works alongside other software teams as well as many other cross-functional organizations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for cost, schedule, safety and quality performance of the Infrastructure Development (Software Pipeline) work scope on the team. This includes 7 to 10 agile scrum teams for DevSecOps (includes our cloud environment), Testing Environment, F-22 OFP Builds, Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption, and the Software Test Team.
  • Works with our customers, our partner (LM), and our suppliers, our Boeing leaders and our employees to enable our unified CI/CD Pipeline and deliver the OFP product to the F-22 Raptor
  • Represents the software team in planning, processes, and execution of testing and software delivery objectives
  • Assists the Software M-level senior manager and the Mission Systems M-level manager in leading the teams in software CI/CD pipeline maturation
  • Mentors the K-level managers on the Software and Mission Systems team

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree
  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role (either as a lead or a manager)
  • 3+ years of experience with software development processes
  • 1+ years of experience with CI/CD pipeline and automation technologies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Mission systems or software experience on Boeing fighter platforms
  • Experience with delivery of program software products within cost and schedule
  • Experience managing employees and first-level managers performing software engineering and technical activities related to supporting program lifecycle software design, development, integration, maintenance, and delivery
  • Experience developing and executing integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures

Travel: Some travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
