Position: IT Project Manager (Contract)
Location: Cleveland, OH - Hybrid: 3
Duration: 2-Year Contract
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a state-of-
the-art Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). This project aims to modernize
laboratory operations across multiple sites using a system successfully implemented by leading
industry players. The ideal candidate will manage the project using Agile/Scrum methodologies
and ensure successful deployment across all designated facilities by 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the deployment and customization of the LIMS across multiple operational and
technical sites.
• Coordinate with internal teams and a dedicated external vendor team to ensure
seamless integration and functionality.
• Manage project deliverables, scope, and timeline through Agile methodologies,
including regular 2-3 week sprints.
• Facilitate communication across diverse teams, including in-house resources and
external vendor representatives.
• Ensure the project adheres to cloud-based frameworks and utilizes specified project
management tools effectively.
• Drive the project forward by focusing on strategic outcomes and operational
efficiencies, not merely administrative tasks.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in LIMS software
implementation. Experience with Uncountable software a strong plus but not required.
• Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies; Scrum certification is a plus.
• Experience with cloud technologies and project management tools such as Microsoft
Planner and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work hybrid with a requirement to be on-site three days per week.
• Capable of managing multi-site deployments and working with cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with an ability to understand and drive complex projects.
Compensation:
• Hourly rate: $70- $80, depending on experience.
