Job description

Job Summary

The Deployment Leader is the primary point of contact for Steelhead customers, responsible for guiding manufacturers through the full deployment lifecycle — from initial configuration to go-live. You will develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business, implement and tailor Steelhead to meet their operational needs, and train their teams from ownership to the plant floor. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, takes ownership of outcomes, and is passionate about helping manufacturers realize the full value of modern software.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers to fully understand their business and goals — from both a production and administrative perspective — then implement and configure Steelhead to meet their needs
  • Train customers on their use of Steelhead, from ownership to the plant floor
  • Meet and exceed the target ARR per month as set by deployment management
  • Balance time to value and quality in your deployments, helping customers feel the value of the product as soon as possible while ensuring sustained satisfaction
  • Consistently pursue continuous improvement opportunities in the deployment process, tools, cross-functional collaboration, customer training, and more
  • Respond to customer phone calls, text messages, emails, and support tickets promptly; provide critical knowledge and technical support
  • Build relationships with customer contacts to create advocates of Steelhead; generate trust and credibility at multiple levels in existing accounts
  • Work with Engineering for product feedback, feature development, and more
