We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Lead to oversee the planning, execution, and support of critical technology projects while serving as a technical resource and mentor for the IT team.


Position Overview

The IT Technical Lead is responsible for leading technology projects, providing technical expertise across multiple IT disciplines, and ensuring systems and infrastructure support the organization's business objectives. This role works closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technology projects from initial planning through implementation, testing, and ongoing support.
  • Act as the primary technical resource for projects involving infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity.
  • Partner with IT leadership to establish project priorities, schedules, and resource planning.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical support to IT team members and cross-functional project teams.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, system procedures, and project records.
  • Promote and maintain IT security best practices while supporting compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolution for escalated support requests.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and technology partners to implement and maintain business solutions.
  • Evaluate current systems and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, reliability, automation, and overall performance.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible IT experience, including at least two years in a leadership, technical lead, or project management role.
  • Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Network administration
    • Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
    • Enterprise business applications (ERP and CRM systems)
    • IT infrastructure
    • Cybersecurity
  • Experience managing IT projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Comfortable balancing technical, hands-on responsibilities with leadership and project coordination.
  • Experience with ITIL principles, project management methodologies, or cybersecurity frameworks is preferred.
