As an Entry Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping the future of our workforce-owning the full-cycle recruiting process from first contact through onboarding. This is a fast-paced, people-first role where you'll partner closely with hiring managers and HR leaders to support high-impact and hard-to-fill roles.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and sources appropriate talent for current Field Service openings within the organization
  • Supports the Tennant Company employment brand
  • Supports the recruitment process and lifecycle, including job postings, resume review, interviews, assessments, and offers
  • Advises potential candidates on employee benefits, salary, incentive programs, and Tennant corporate culture
  • Provides sourcing support for other Talent Acquisition Specialists as needed
  • Focuses on providing a positive candidate experience by ensuring appropriate follow-up and professional communication with candidates at all stages of the process
  • Provides a positive hiring manager experience and ensures regular updates are provided to hiring managers
  • Uses social media, job boards, and other technical and creative methods to source candidates for open positions
  • Co-facilitates onsite career fair events and provides internship program support
  • Uses applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to track applicants through the selection phase through onboarding
  • Supports relationships with third-party recruitment agencies and staffing firms as needed

Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in talent acquisition
  • Proven success recruiting high-volume positions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience with applicant tracking systems and leveraging technology for recruitment
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations, including assessing, researching, analyzing, and developing solutions using creativity and judgment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and effectively interface with leaders and business partners
  • Process and detail-oriented, with strong organizational and prioritization skills

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $49,700 - 74,700

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
