Job Summary:
Acendion Collective is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead high-performing application development teams in delivering scalable software solutions. The role involves blending technical leadership with people management while collaborating with business stakeholders and vendors to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Drive application design, development, and delivery using modern engineering practices and technologies.
• Collaborate with business leaders, architects, and product teams to define and deliver scalable solutions.
• Oversee vendor partnerships and ensure successful delivery of externally supported solutions.
• Establish and enforce development standards, best practices, and governance processes.
• Manage budgets, resources, and project timelines to ensure efficient execution of technology initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, system design, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure software quality through testing strategies, code reviews, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications:
