The Role and Impact:
As a Platform Architecture Graduate Intern in our Network and Edge hardware architecture group within the Data Center Group, you will play a pivotal role in Si performance analysis for network and AI workloads, assist in performance modeling and architectural tradeoff analyses. Contribute to integration planning across components such as power, memory, and IO subsystems. Collaborating with architects and design engineers, you will ensure platform/Si scalability and alignment with Intel's strategic goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to build hands-on experience with state-of-the-art analysis tools and techniques, explore cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to Intel's growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Si Performance Analysis for Network and AI workloads.
- Learn and utilize state-of-the-art analysis tools and techniques for development and pathfinding of emerging technologies.
- Support performance modeling and architectural tradeoff analysis.
- Contribute to integration planning across platform components, including power, memory, and analog subsystems.
- Collaborate with architects and design engineers to drive platform scalability, reliability, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Participate in hands-on projects that foster continuous learning and exploration of future career opportunities.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and working on a Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ months of experience with Computer Architecture.
- 6+ months of experience in C/C++ programming and Python.
- 3+ months of experience with Computer Networking stacks and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ months of experience in Linux and Intel processors-based platforms.
- 3+ months of experience with AI software.
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a sense of ownership.
- Knowledge of hardware architecture fundamentals, power management, and system-level integration.
- Any experience with network software: dpdk or VPP.
