Main Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern operates within their local team and supporting projects.
• Value Stream Mapping
• Capital Assets Identification & Organization
• Design and Build Oil Mist Cart
• New Product Roll-Out
• Reorganize Current Layout to Accommodate New Equipment
• Spec and Install Shop Floor Audible Break Signals
• Contribute to delivery of projects
• Direct responsibility for engineering activities
• To operate as part of local engineering team to share best practice, and support activities
• Working with our Engineering team to complete the task
To succeed, you will need
• Education level: Undergraduate or graduate students. Typically rising juniors/seniors/graduate students; freshman & sophomores welcome.
• Relevant Previous experience: In relevant major for internship focus.
• Knowledge areas/Skills: Strong communication skills & attention to detail. Willingness to learn new skills & about vacuum technologies in a professional/dynamic environment
