Job description

The software developer II is a critical part of the software team who is responsible for the development of the Warehouse Execution System (WES) named FulfillX by Kardex product to the approved software specifications. He/she will work closely with the product team to design and develop the scope of work for the product and set up and/or customize the software to meet the requirements without much guidance.
The candidate will work closely with the [Quality Assurance Engineer] to develop and debug test conditions for the implementation that was executed. He/she will also support the product and project through testing and ramp up phases of new releases in order to resolve bugs and environmental factors.

Your tasks
Job Purpose
Involved in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions with minimal guidance
Collaborates with the team and lead smaller projects
Ensures adherence to coding standards and best practices
Able to take requirements from an SA/Azure and break it into smaller tasks to complete deliverables
Ability to document all changes being made and update based off the implementation
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Travel domestically and possibility internationally, total travel estimate is 20%

Job Requirements
Training/Education:
Business or technical degree in computer science or a similar field is preferred
Excellent communication skills
Professional Experience:
2+ years' experience with C# software engineering experience
Experience with HTTP, Javascript (REACT), JSON, and Node Javascript
Experience with SQL, SOAP, API, XML, REST
Experience with API integration
Proven portfolio of projects
Other Experiences:
Experience supporting and developing Warehouse control systems is preferred
Experience with coordinating and collaborating with cross functional teams through multiple pieces of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Detailed understanding of logistics and IT processes
