Civil Engineer in Training
Position Description
As a Civil Engineer-In-Training or Designer, you will be an integral part of the design team to produce construction documents for Civil site projects. This position will use AutoCAD and Civil 3D software as a drafting and design tool. As a Civil Engineer in Training or Designer you will gain an understanding of site systems and water/wastewater design on a variety of building construction projects. This position will work under the guidance of a senior engineer as you learn the Civil consulting profession.
Position Salary Range*
The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 annually.
Required Qualifications**
  • ABET accredited degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2 to 5 years job related experience within the US
  • Base knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Outlook, Microsoft Office. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work with engineering concepts in real world applications
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Ability to do basic calculations
  • Understand the fundamentals of civil engineering
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications**
  • Has Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • Preferred at least 2+ years of job related experience within the US

  • Work under the direction of a licensed project engineer
