Summary

Roomvu is seeking a Software Development Manager/ Senior Product Manager to lead the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our software products and technology platform. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to define product requirements, establish development priorities, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that align with business objectives.


The Software Development Manager will oversee technical resources, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and help shape the future direction of the company's products and technology. This role combines strategic product planning, software development leadership, project management, and team supervision to support the effective operation, innovation, and growth of Roomvu's technology platform.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate software development projects and product initiatives to support organizational objectives.
  • Lead and supervise cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA specialists, data analysts, and product designers, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment across team members.
  • Establish project priorities, allocate resources, and coordinate development activities to ensure the successful delivery of product initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance, evaluate development outcomes, and recommend product, process, and technology improvements to support continued growth and innovation.
  • Translate customer needs and market opportunities into clear product requirements by analyzing user behavior, reviewing customer feedback, and leveraging user research conducted in collaboration with product design and UX teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • +7 years of experience in product management, including experience leading and coordinating mid-sized cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, launch, and grow successful software products with a proven track record of delivering measurable business results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data, user insights, and market research to make informed product decisions.
  • Strong understanding of modern software technologies and product development practices. Experience with data analytics, software development, coding, AI tools, and emerging technologies is considered an asset.
  • AI-native mindset with a strong interest in staying current with advancements in artificial intelligence and applying modern technologies to improve products, processes, and business outcomes.
  • Entrepreneurial or startup experience is considered an asset.
