POSITION SUMMARY

TSG Resolute is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. This fully remote role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities across target OEM markets. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in die-cutting and converting, a proven record of driving new sales, and the ability to forge long-term customer relationships. You will serve as a strategic ambassador for TSG Resolute's comprehensive converting capabilities, working closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Development

  • Proactively identify and pursue new accounts within target OEM markets including automotive, appliance, lighting, electronics, BMS, and industrial.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold outreach, networking, trade shows, referrals, and industry events
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets

Account Management & Customer Engagement

  • Cultivate strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and procurement contacts at target accounts
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand customer application requirements and position TSG Resolute's converting solutions accordingly
  • Coordinate with TSG engineering and operations teams to develop custom solutions, prototypes, and quotes
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospect identification through contract execution and onboarding

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in a Customer Relationship Management software system.
  • Build annual sales forecast of current customers and go-get expected revenue.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline status, market insights, and competitive intelligence to leadership

Market & Product Expertise

  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of die-cutting and converting processes — including laminating flatbed, rotary, laser cutting, water jet, and oscillating knife
  • Stay current on material trends, competitive landscape, and customer industry developments
  • Collaborate with commercial team & leadership to refine value propositions and go-to-market strategies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on knowledge of die-cutting and converting processes, materials (foams, films, adhesives, gaskets, fiberglass insulation, etc.), and OEM customer technical requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in die-cutting, converting, or related flexible materials manufacturing
  • Demonstrated success driving new business and consistently achieving sales targets
  • Proficiency with CRM software for pipeline and account management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fully remote, independent work environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer visits, trade shows, and plant visits (up to 30–40%)
  • Experience with technical/consultative selling and working closely with engineering teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience selling OEM accounts in automotive, appliance, lighting, electronics, BMS, industrial markets and familiarity working with converter partner materials is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field
