Position Description:
We are seeking a Software Engineer with deep expertise in ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture, with a strong emphasis on Business Application Lifecycle Management (BALM). This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing application lifecycle strategies that improve visibility, governance, and optimization across the enterprise application portfolio. The ideal candidate brings a strong ServiceNow technical foundation, a systems-thinking mindset, and the ability to translate architecture strategy into scalable platform solutions. Experience with front-end UI development is a plus to enhance user experience and adoption.
 
Skills Required:
  • JavaScript, Angular, Vue.js, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), HTML, React, Data Modeling
 
Experience Required:
  • 3-6+ years of experience in ServiceNow development or platform engineering Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture and/or Application Portfolio Management (APM)
  • Strong expertise in Business Application Lifecycle Management (BALM) concepts, processes, and implementation Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs) and platform configuration
  • Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Solid understanding of application portfolio governance, lifecycle states, and rationalization methodologies Experience working with CMDB, data models, and service mapping
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with architecture, product, and engineering teams Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to data accuracy and outcomes
 
Experience Preferred:
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, APM, or Enterprise Architecture-related) Familiarity with UX/UI best practices to improve usability of ServiceNow applications and dashboards
