Description
American Credit Acceptance LLC seeks a Software Engineer to develop, test and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet user needs and align with the organization's business goals. Build and deploy web-based applications using the full-stack systems, including front-end and back-end technologies. Implement enterprise solutions with a security focus. Prepare and analyze design documents and other necessary documentation ensuring the solutions comply with ACA IT standards and policies. Collaborate across multiple teams in the organization to write best practices and coding standards during the development and unit testing phases. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, solution design, code reviews, testing, and deployment in an Agile/Scrum environment. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues by analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and implementing fixes or improvements. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other directly related STEM field, and 3 years of experience in a software development occupation. Experience must include at minimum: 3 years of experience performing object-oriented software development using C# in .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET 8; 3 years of experience with developing RESTful APIs and HTTP services using ASP.NET Core; 3 years of experience with front-end technologies, including Angular and TypeScript, for building responsive web interfaces; 3 years of experience working with relational databases; 3 years of experience with developing with cloud platforms (AWS) including Lambda, ECS Fargate, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, and S3; and 3 years of experience using Entity Framework Core for database access and object-relational mapping.
