- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, market research, referrals and strategic client engagement.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business, expand service offerings, and cultivate referral opportunities.
- Execute sales goals set by the Branch Manager and Regional leadership and use these as guidelines for daily sales activities while collaborating with sales, marketing, operations and technical teams to support business development initiatives.
- Generate profitable revenue by identifying qualified leads, cross-selling and add-on opportunities while delivering solutions that meet company margin objectives.

- Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams to ensure responsiveness, manage lead times, and support effective project planning and workflow coordination.
- Assist and attend selected marketing and networking events both during the day and occasionally in the evenings and/or on weekends.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
- Progressive business development experience, preferably in the A/E/C, environmental consulting or infrastructure industry.
- Proven track record of building client relationships and securing contracts with public agencies, private sector clients, or utility/infrastructure owners.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Teams with the ability to learn additional software systems.
- Experience with CRM platforms and business development reporting tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel regularly to client sites and industry events.

- Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is required during travel and on-site work.
