Under moderate supervision, the incumbent will support all software aspects of the development and design of products and product improvements of moderate difficulty requiring the use of some independent judgment. Incidental to these design efforts, the Software Development Engineer II will work both independently and as part of a team to develop creative solutions based on requirements from specific customers or general market requirements.Β Β Β

  • IdentifyΒ where product features interfere with usability or maintainabilityΒ 
  • Understands and follows product development processesΒ 
  • Create introductory installation for small applications and utilitiesΒ 
  • Integrate software components into existing buildΒ 
  • Develops using software best practices to ensure implementation qualityΒ 
  • AddsΒ componentΒ to the repositoryΒ 
  • Reproduces and defines boundaries of defect, suggest causes or dependenciesΒ 
  • Can retrieve and review project documentation in EPOΒ 
  • Ability to work with code that is object oriented, modular, and readableΒ
