Job Summary:
Ascensus is the leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans across America. They are currently hiring multiple associate level engineers for their Software Engineering teams, focusing on delivering high-quality software and adhering to best engineering practices.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

• Analyze, implement, test, document and maintain new and current software applications with minimal oversight in support of achieving the business goals.
• Assist in estimating and planning throughout the software development life cycle.
• Support people and process improvement strategies for the organization.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Up to two years of full time professional experience developing software & systems for small to medium business environments through internships, Co-ops or professional experience.
• Working experience in one or more programming or scripting languages
• Experience in using Generative AI tools for software development
• Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Passion for developing software
